Eterna, the work
horse of the Getzen professional trumpets-designed in the early 1960's,
and refined through the years. Eterna has served generations of
working musicians, serious amateur players and students in a variety of
settings. Eterna trumpets are exceptionally free-blowing with
excellent intonation.

Eterna piccolo trumpets, handcrafted in the Getzen Pro Shop, are designed for Baroque music and other specialty parts requiring a delicate response and feel in the high trumpet range. Eterna offers both long and short bell models to suit the preference of each type of player. The short model 940S is more open. This style is enjoyed by players who like less resistance and like to be closer to the feel of the sound with a shorter bell. The 916 model is a favorite of players who like a bit more resistance and who feel they have better control of the sound with the projection a little farther down the be... Both styles are excellent for professional use.
